It’s the time of the year again for the last largest consumer IT show of 2018. SITEX 2018 is definitely an event you would not want to miss this year. Besides a showcase of the latest consumer IT products, there are also a few unique experiential zones that you can visit while at the show. Here are some of the highlights.
Vivo Booth
If you are a budget sensitive individual looking for a phone with fairly decent specification, several Chinese brands may come into your mind. One such brand is Vivo. Compared to the other counterparts from China such as Huawei and Oppo, Vivo pricing is a bit less stressful for your pocket.
The phone feature at the show is the newly launched Vivo V11, priced at SGD 599. Yet at this price point, the Vivo V11 comes with a fairly decent hardware. A 25 MP front camera, and a dual 12MP/5MP rear camera powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset – octa-core processor at 2.2 GHz. RAM is also fairly generous at 6 GB. The phone also features an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Google Smart Home
For the first time this year, Google has a huge space dedicated to its own Google devices. Showcased here is the recently release Pixel 3 as well as the Google Home. Experience the power of AI in your camera where Google’s smart AI will help you choose the best photo for your shot in a feature known as the Top Shot. Through augmented reality, you can also take a picture with your favorite Marvel Hero such as the Hulk and Iron Man using the Camera’s playground feature.
There is also a smart living room at Google Smart Home zone. Interact with Google Home and experience first hand how it can turn control your lighting and electronic appliances at home. Beyond that, Google Home can also help you play videos from YouTube or music from Spotify hands-free.

Gaming Experiential Zone
Gamers will find themselves spending much of their time at the Gaming Experiential Zone. Both Xbox and PlayStation have booths of their own at this year’s SITEX. You can try out the latest games on both major consoles.
Forza Horizon 4 is featured at the Xbox booth with a full racing rig that comes with an ultra wide monitor.
As for PlayStation, the latest Spider-Man is a key highlight with a life-size Spider-Man that you can take picture with.
Esport is also part of the gaming experiential Zone with the Omen Community Esports Challenge presented by GameAsia. Game tournaments of popular competitive games such as CS:GO, DOTA 2 and PUBG will be held at the area.
