So I bought a US PSN card online from bestbuy.com, it doesn't work on my Canadian account. If you have a US account and want to add $50 to your wallet, this might work for you. I can bring my laptop and you can add the code to your wallet on the spot.

Lesson: All PSN cards are ridiculously region specific.
